Pilates is a holistic training method which addresses your deepest, smallest and in most cases weakest muscle groups. The latter are responsible for a healthy posture in everyday life. The method incorporates strength building exercises, stretching and awareness of breath.

The method's number one objective is to train your “Powerhouse”, i.e. those deep underlying muscles which surround the spinal-cord, also known as the stabilizing muscles. The pelvic-floor muscles and the trunk muscles are also strengthened in the series. All exercises are carried out in a slow and flowing manner, which secures the soft treatment of the joints and muscles as well as the in-depth training of breath.
